Tribal Justice & Legal Affairs

Department Overview

The Department of Tribal Justice & Legal Affairs is currently in its foundational phase. We are building a sovereign legal infrastructure that aligns with Cheasequah Nation values, honors ancestral law, and establishes a culturally rooted justice system responsive to the needs of our citizens.

As we build, this department will serve as the legal backbone of the Nation, overseeing matters of constitutional law, dispute resolution, rights protection, and restorative justice. This development phase is guided by our mission to reclaim legal sovereignty and offer an alternative model to conventional systems that have failed to protect Indigenous Peoples.
