About Us
A Nation Reclaiming Its Place in History
Cheasequah Nation – We are the return. We are the rising. We are the Nation.
The Cheasequah Nation is a sovereign Indigenous government founded on ancestral principles, sacred stewardship, and intergenerational responsibility. Our Nation represents the People of Antiquity—descendants of the original copper-colored tribes of Turtle Island, including the Cherokee, Guale, Yamasee, and other Southeastern peoples.
Headquartered in what is now known as Georgia, we are reclaiming our role as caretakers, leaders, and innovators across all sectors—spiritual, agricultural, educational, legal, and technological. Our foundation rests on the understanding that sovereignty is not given; it is lived, defended, and passed on.

Our Name & Symbolism
Cheasequah” means “Red Bird” in Cherokee. It represents the Phoenix—our ancestral symbol of eternal resilience, rebirth, and guardianship. The Phoenix reminds us that from every trial, we rise.

Our Vision
A self-governing, economically resilient, and spiritually aligned Nation where every citizen has access to tools, knowledge, and pathways to build a sovereign and sustainable life.

Our Mission
To protect, preserve, and promote the rights, culture, land, and future of our People through nation-building, education, and holistic development guided by our ancestors and aligned with future generations
To preserve our legacy and secure our future by:
Exercising tribal jurisdiction and sovereignty across all sectors
Educating current and future generations through culturally grounded learning
Developing sustainable systems for agriculture, energy, housing, and health
Creating intergenerational pathways for leadership, wellness, and innovation

Our Government
Our governance structure includes Red and White Chiefs, Clan Mothers, and a 13-seat Tribal Council. Leadership is chosen not for dominance, but for service, sacrifice, and ancestral alignment.
Red Chief (Head Chief): Protector and final decision-maker, representing balance, responsibility, and continuity of the Nation’s will
White Chief (Strategic Chief): Architect and spiritual foundation of the Nation, representing sacred knowledge, wisdom, and future design
Tribal Council & Clan Mothers: Comprising the legislative, judicial, and cultural governance bodies ensuring community-led leadership and accountability
Chief AMIR CALIPH EL "RedWolf" BEY
Chief Amir Caliph El "Red Wolf" Bey, born Brendon Williams in Tallahassee, Florida, descends from a proud lineage rooted in the Aboriginal Native American Cherokee Tribe. Raised with deep awareness of his Muurish and Indigenous heritage, Red Wolf was profoundly influenced by the oral traditions of his maternal Phoenix clan and the wisdom of his grandfather, Carrol Phoenix—a respected Shriner and community leader.
His family’s legacy, shaped by self-sufficiency, herbal healing, and the Guale/Geechee cultural traditions of South Carolina, instilled in him a lifelong commitment to sovereignty, healing, and empowerment. As he came of age, Red Wolf embarked on a mission to rediscover his true identity and heritage, stepping into his role as a modern-day "solutionary"—one who creates pathways to freedom, resilience, and revolutionary progress for future generations.
