General Questions

Q: What is the Cheasequah Nation? A: The Cheasequah Nation is a sovereign Indigenous tribal government rooted in the Southeastern ancestral lineages of Cherokee, Guale, Muscogee, and Yamasee peoples. We are recognized as the People of Antiquity and operate as a sovereign Nation based on jurisdictional authority and cultural continuity.

Q: Where is the Cheasequah Nation headquartered? A: Our headquarters is located in the state currently known as Georgia (Turtle Island), with ancestral jurisdiction covering regions of Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina.

Q: Who leads the Nation? A: The Nation is led by the Red Chief (Head Chief), White Chief (Strategic Architect), Tribal Council, and Clan Mothers. Leadership is guided by ancestral principles, cultural law, and community input.

Citizenship & Membership

Q: What is the difference between membership and citizenship? A: Membership is an initial or supportive affiliation recognizing ancestral or spiritual connection. Citizenship is a formal legal status under tribal jurisdiction, granting full rights, ID issuance, and UCIN assignment.

Q: How do I become a citizen or member? A: You must first complete the tribal screening form. If accepted, you’ll take the tribal preparatory course and choose the path of citizenship or membership. All processes are documented and must follow Nation guidelines.

Q: Can I hold dual citizenship? A: Yes. We honor dual citizenship with other tribal nations and national governments. You must complete a Dual Citizenship Declaration form.

IHEA & Hemp Licensing

Q: Is IHEA a legal hemp licensing program? A: Yes. IHEA operates under Title 21 USC §885, which grants legal exemption from federal criminal suspicion under the Controlled Substances Act. All members receive federal exemption documentation.

Q: What can I do as a member of IHEA? A: Depending on your membership tier (Federal, Gold, Platinum, or Presidential), you may grow hemp, participate in R&D, manufacture, distribute, or trade across state and international lines.

Education & Programs

Q: What educational services are offered? A: We operate K–12 programs, vocational training, and We Educate University. Programs are open to tribal citizens, members, and allies.

Q: Do you offer online learning? A: Yes. Many courses are offered through hybrid or fully remote platforms.

Business & Verification

Q: What is a UBIN? A: A UBIN (Unique Business Identification Number) is assigned to all registered tribal businesses operating under Cheasequah jurisdiction.

Q: How can I verify someone’s UCIN/UMIN/UBIN? A: Use our Identity Verification Portal, accessible from the home page. Public access is limited to verification of status only. Government and tribal officials may request expanded access.
